Our Shooting Star service allows you to send ashes into space easily and affordably, and comes with a bespoke tracking service that allows family and friends to track their loved one’s journey through the stars.

After approximately five years in Low Earth Orbit, the spacecraft will re-enter the atmosphere and burn up, appearing as a shooting star to observers below. During this final stage of the mission, the ashes will symbolically scatter across the Earth in a majestic final tribute to those on board.

Have your loved one remembered by flying their ashes, along with a personalised laser etched message, on an iconic space mission!

An Aeternum pack will be delivered to your address, inside will be a specially designed capsule engraved with your loved ones initials and all the necessary tools and instructions for depositing their ashes. Meanwhile your own personalised message of 50 characters (including spaces) will be laser etched on the outer casing of the spacecraft.

You will be kept regularly updated on your mission, including a photographic and video record of your loved ones capsule being placed in our spacecraft, the spacecraft being integrated onto the rocket and its launch into space.

Once in space, your loved one will orbit the Earth and you can track their journey in real time over the Earth with our complementary Satellite Tracking Service. Eventually the spacecraft will reenter and burn-up in the atmosphere, symbolically scattering your loved ones ashes over the entire Earth and appearing as a shooting star in the sky.

Near Earth Engraving Service
Have your own message of 200 characters fly in space!

You will be able to write your message of up to 200 characters (including spaces). This message could chronicle the life of a lost loved one or be a personal message for yourself or someone close to you. Your words will be laser etched onto one of the outer aluminium panels of our spacecraft, in Arial font size 8 (as seen on Microsoft Office Word).

You will receive regular updates of the mission’s progress, including photos of the spacecraft’s construction, its integration onto the rocket and a live video feed of the launch. After launch, you will also be able to track the journey of your message as it orbits in space around the Earth with our complementary Satellite Tracking Service, Eventually the spacecraft will reenter and burn-up in the atmosphere, causing your message to flash across the sky, appearing as a shooting star to observers on the ground.
